N.W.A Biopic STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON Gets a New Trailer

MTV debuted a new trailer for the upcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, which tells the story of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella, and MC Ren as they rose to fame and changed the landscape of hip-hop forever. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray and stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell and Paul Giamatti.

Straight Outta Compton opens in theaters August 14th.

 

The group NWA emerges from the streets of Compton, California in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes pop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.
