NERVE Starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco Gets a Trailer

A new trailer for the thriller Nerve has been released, which stars Emma Roberts as a high school senior who decides to take part in an online game where she must complete escalating challenges for money, but can’t seem to quit when the stakes get too high. The film also stars Dave Franco as another unwilling participant.

The film looks sort of similar to the Thai film 13: Game of Death (or its American remake 13 Sins), which I’m totally fine with, as it looks like a relatively fun time.

Nerve is directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost (Catfish) and opens July 27th.

Industrious high school senior, Vee Delmonico , has had it with living life on the sidelines. When pressured by friends to join the popular online game Nerve, Vee decides to sign up for just one dare in what seems like harmless fun. But as she finds herself caught up in the thrill of the adrenaline-fueled competition partnered with a mysterious stranger , the game begins to take a sinister turn with increasingly dangerous acts, leading her into a high stakes finale that will determine her entire future.
