Netflix has released a trailer for Girlfriend’s Day, the first narrative feature from documentarian Michael Paul Stephenson (Best Worst Movie, The American Scream). In in, Bob Odenkirk (who also wrote the film) plays a greeting card writer who gets caught up in mayhem after a new holiday is established in California. The film looks a little Coenesque and I’m interested.
Girlfriend’s Day also stars Amber Tamblyn, Natasha Lyonne, Ed Begley Jr., Stacy Keach, June Diane Raphael, and Andy Richter. It premieres on Netflix on Valentine’s Day.
