Adam Sandler and Netflix are dutifully working through their deal for original comedies and Sandy Wexler is next on the list. Sandler plays a talent manager in ‘90s Los Angeles who dresses and talks funny, so basically a standard Sandler character. Jennifer Hudson stars as his new discovery.
It looks like there’s a faux documentary component, with celebrities such as Chris Rock, Conan O’Brien, Judd Apatow, and several others reminiscing about the guy.
Sandy Wexler hits Netflix on April 14th.
