New Red Band Trailer for ‘The Dirties’ Taps Its Inner Refn

Here’s the new awesomely made unofficial red band trailer for The Dirties written and directed by Mattew Johnson. This trailer honors the upcoming Nicholas Winding Refn film Only God Forgives and creates its own homage, aptly titled Only The Dirties Forgives.  The film won the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Slamdance Film Festival and was recently picked up for distribution by Phase 4 and Kevin Smith‘s Kevin Smith Movie Club label.

This is easily one of our favorite films of the year so far, and though the release date hasn’t been set yet, plan to see it roll out in theaters and on VOD later this year.  For now check out our review here, stay tuned to the podcast for our interview with director Matthew Johnson on next week’s show, and hit the jump for the trailer.
