The film also stars Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt, Dean Norris, Rosie Perez, John Leguizamo, Natalie Dormer, and Goran Visnjic. The script is by Cormac McCarthy (The Road, No Country for Old Men), so that has me excited right there.
While this trailer has a lot of what we’ve seen previously, there’s a few more interesting tidbits in it, so check it out along with the synopsis after the jump.
The Counselor hits theaters October 25th.
Ridley Scott and author Cormac McCarthy join forces in the motion picture thriller THE COUNSELOR, starring Michael Fassbender, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, and Brad Pitt. McCarthy, making his screenwriting debut and Scott interweave the author’s characteristic wit and dark humor with a nightmarish scenario, in which a respected lawyer’s one-time dalliance with an illegal business deal spirals out of control.
