New Trailer Promotes DONNIE DARKO’s Return to Theaters for 15th Anniversary

Richard Kelly’s Donnie Darko is returning to select theaters this year to mark its 15th anniversary, and a new trailer and poster have been released to promote the screenings. The mind-bender stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a teenager whose imaginary, creepy-looking rabbit friend tells him the world is going to end.

The film has received a 4K restoration and will screen in select cities beginning in March. Cartilage Films is providing theaters with both the theatrical and director’s cuts. You can see a list of dates and locations on CartilageFilms.com.
