‘Only God Forgives’ International Trailers

Just yesterday we saw the release of the new poster for Only God Forgives by director Nicholas Winding Refn (Drive), and a couple weeks ago we saw the first trailer.  Now we have two more international trailers for you to feast your eyes on. The film was also just announced to be premiering at Cannes 2013, however most figured it would.

These trailers are similar to the domestic one, however they do include some more footage and get deeper into the plot of the film.  If you haven’t seen the domestic version, be sure to check that out, as well as the new poster and hit the jump for the new trailers and synopsis.

Julian (Gosling) lives in exile in Bangkok where he runs a Thai boxing club as a front for the family’s drugs smuggling operation. When Julian’s brother Billy is killed, their mother, Jenna (Kristen Scott Thomas), arrives in the city. She wants revenge and forces Julian to find the killer. Julian’s contacts in the criminal underworld lead him directly to The Angel of Vengeance, a retired police officer who knows everything and who is both Judge and Punisher. Jenna demands that Julian kill The Angel of Vengeance, an act that will cost him dearly.
