PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES Gets an Extended TV Spot

Disney has released a new TV spot for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Johnny Depp‘s fifth go-round as swashbuckler Captain Jack Sparrow. We get more of CGI-ed young Captain Jack, more of the newcomers played by Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites, and Javier Bardem‘s Captain Salazar leading a ghost army running on top of the water.

Directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg (Kon Tiki), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales also stars Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, David Wenham, Keith Richards, and Paul McCartney. It will be in theaters on May 26th.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him.  Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
