No Pixar Titles for 2014 as THE GOOD DINOSAUR Gets Pushed Back

Disney/Pixar announced today that they will be pushing back the release of The Good Dinosaur from  June 2014 to November 25, 2015.  The new spot was originally going to be the release date for Pixar’s upcoming Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory, however that got pushed back to June 17, 2016.

That means there will be no Pixar releases next year.  According to the LA Times article, it seems that there were some quality concerns with The Good Dinosaur which prompted the push.  Disney fans might be happy to know that the vacant 2014 spot will now be filled with the Angelina Jolie film Maleficent, which will be released on May 30th, 2014.
