POLTERGEIST Reboot Receives a New Trailer

A new trailer dropped for the upcoming 20th Century Fox reboot of Poltergeist, produced by Sam Raimi and starring Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt. The film is directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House) and, if you’re not familiar with the plot of the original film, revolves around a family whose house becomes haunted by malevolent spirits.

Poltergeist also stars Kennedi Clements, Jared Harris, Saxon Sharbino, Susan Heyward, Jane Adams, and Nicholas Braun, and opens in theaters May 22nd.

Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spiderman,” “Evil Dead”, “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
