‘Prometheus’ Gets an R Rating

There’s been some speculation over the last month that Ridley Scott‘s epic Prometheus was going to be toned down and shoot for a PG-13 rating in order to appeal to a wider audience.  This made fanboys such as myself nervous, however all our fears are now quelled, as Fox confirmed today that the film is, in fact, rated R.  After finding this out, and seeing the incredible 3D trailer for the film, I’m now more excited than ever to see what could be one of the greatest sci-fi horror films ever made.  We’ll know for sure on June 8th when Prometheus hits theaters.
