Richard Linklater’s BOYHOOD Gets a Teaser Poster

IFC Films released a new teaser poster for Richard Linklater‘s upcoming 12-year epic, Boyhood, which was shot every year over the last 12 years to show the passage of time for a family.  While I wasn’t blown away by the story, the concept alone kept me in awe through the fairly long run-time so I definitely recommend checking it out.  You can read my full review here.

Boyhood stars Ethan Hawke, Ellar Coltrane, Patricia Arquette, and Lorelei Linklater, and is set to open in theaters July 11th.  Hit the break to check out the new poster and synopsis.

Filmed over short periods from 2002 to 2013 with the same four actors, Boyhood is a groundbreaking cinematic experience covering 12 years in the life of a family. At the center is Mason, who with his sister Samantha, is taken on an emotional and transcendent journey through the years, from childhood to adulthood.
