Robert Kirkman’s INVINCIBLE to be Adapted by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg

After successfully adapting another popular comic book series, Preacher, to AMC, it appears that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are once again setting their sights on comics with the announcement of an Invincible movie. Invincible is a fantastic super hero series from Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, and is scheduled to conclude later this year with issue 144.

If you’re not familiar with the series here’s the synopsis from Amazon:

Mark Grayson is just like most everyone else his age. The only major difference being that his dad is the most powerful superhero on the planet! And, Mark seems to be inheriting his father’s powers! See Mark thwart super-villains, alien invasions and all sorts of craziness, as he gets the hang of all this super-heroing stuff.

Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment made the announcement, however there are no further details about the project just yet. You can bet I’ll be keeping my ear to the ground on this one though.
