Ryan Gosling Re-teams with Damien Chazelle for Neil Armstrong Biopic

The Wrap confirmed today that Ryan Gosling will be re-teaming with La La Land director Damien Chazelle and heading to space in an upcoming biopic about Neil Armstrong‘s historic walk on the moon, titled First Man.

The Universal production will follow Armstrong’s life from 1961 through 1969 and will be a “visceral, first-person account” that explores “the sacrifices and the cost — on Neil and on the nation — of one of the most dangerous missions in history.”

There’s no word on any other cast members as of yet or when production will begin, but we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground for this one.
