Disney’s SAVING MR. BANKS Trailer Starring Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson

Moviefone posted the first Saving Mr. Banks trailer today, which stars Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, and Ruth Wilson.  The film tells the story of Walt Disney‘s pursuit to acquire the rights and create a film version of P.J. Travers‘ Mary Poppins.  Of course, Hanks plays Disney and Thompson plays Travers.

John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) directs, and the film is set to hit theaters December 13th, so it looks like they’re gunning for Oscar.  Hit the jump for the trailer.
