The Orchard has released the first trailer for Sebastian Silva‘s (Magic Magic, Crystal Fairy and the Magical Cactus) upcoming film, Nasty Baby, starring Silva alongside Kristen Wiig and Tunde Adebimpe as three friends trying to have a baby, but at some point things go horribly wrong.
The trailer keeps it vague, but it looks like stuff gets weird and violent, so naturally I’m interested in checking this one out.
Nasty Baby opens in limited released October 23th, and will be available on VOD platforms October 30th.
The film follows the trio as they navigate the idea of creating life while confronted by growing harassment from a menacing local known as ‘The Bishop’ (Reg E. Cathey). As things take a dark turn, their joyous pursuit of parenthood is suddenly clouded.
