Slamdance 2015: Shout! Factory Picks Up BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS

Today, Shout! Factory announced that they have acquired the rights to Brian James O’Connell‘s horror-comedy Bloodsucking Bastards, which just screened at this year’s Slamdance Film Festival. The film stars Fran Kranz as an apathetic office worker who discovers his new boss is a vampire. The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Emma Fitzpatrick, Joey Kern, Yvette Yates, Joel Murray, Justin Ware, Neil Garguilo, David Park, and Sean Cowhig.

Shout! Factory picked up the  theatrical, home entertainment, digital distribution and broadcast rights for cross-platform releases in the U.S. and Canada. There’s been no announcement as far as a release date as of yet, but hopefully we’ll get to sink our teeth into this one sometime this year.
