‘Starbuck’ Remake Titled ‘Delivery Man’ Starring Vince Vaughn Gets a Teaser

Most of you probably remember hearing about the French-Canadian film Starbuck, written and directed by Ken Scott, probably because it just came out in the US a few months ago.  Interestingly enough, the remake, also written and directed by Scott, is set to hit theaters this year as well.  We’ve seen foreign directors remaking their own films in English before (Funny Games, The Grudge), but it’s rare to have the same movie come out in the same year.

The film stars Vince Vaughn as David Wozniak, a man who, due to a mix-up at a sperm bank, ends up with 533 children. After 142 of them sue to find their biological father, Wozniak must step up to the plate and leave his aimless slacker life behind.  Chris Pratt also stars as Vaughn’s goofball lawyer.

Delivery Man is set for theaters November 22nd, hit the jump for the very short teaser provided by Fandango.

For those of you that have seen Starbuck, is it deserving of a remake? Or should Americans stop being lazy and learn to enjoy movies with subtitles? Comment below.
