Thank Heavens! ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Finds a Director

It’s been announced today, that a director has been found for the film adaptation of the best-selling “mommy-porn” novel Fifty Shades of GreySam Taylor-Johnson, wife of actor Aaron Johnson, will be making this her second feature behind 2009’s Nowhere Boy.

While Johnson seemed to be a shoe-in for the Christian Grey character, it seems like he won’t be pursuing the role.  As of now, there aren’t any confirmations as far as cast, or when the film will begin production.

Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks) wrote the script for Focus Features, and Michael De Luca (American History X, The Social Network) is producing.
