When it was first announced that Sony was making a movie based on the hit mobile game Angry Birds, I thought to myself “Gee, that sounds terrible,” but after checking out the first teaser trailer released today, I’m actually thinking this one looks pretty fun. It’s got a great voice cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, and Hannibal Buress and is written by Jon Vitti, who co-wrote The Simpsons Movie.
The Angry Birds Movie is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly and it set to hit theaters next summer.
