Lately, we here at FilmPulse have been on a little short film kick and today is no different. Here is a trailer for the upcoming short film from Athina Rachel Tsangari, director of Attenberg, titled The Capsule. The Capsule is a Greek Gothic mystery inspired by Polish artist Aleksandra Waliszewska, who also co-wrote the film with Tsangari. By the looks of it, it’s right up our alley since we are huge fans of the surreal cinema coming out of Greece over the last couple of years. It involves seven women at a mansion perched on a Cycladic rock in a series of lessons on discipline, desire, discovery, and disappearance. A melancholy, inescapable cycle on the brink of womanhood – infinitely. At least that’s what the official Facebook page says; I responded with “Yes!”. Hit the jump to view the trailer.
