Warner Bros. and New Line have released the first trailer for It, and it’s shrouding of the monstrous clown Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) works to make him even more scary. This adaptation of Stephen King‘s book looks like straight-ahead terrifying horror.
Directed by Andrés Muschietti, It also stars Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
It is in theaters on September 8th and is the first part of a two-film series.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
