Thomas McCarthy’s THE COBBLER Trailer Starring Adam Sandler

A new international trailer for Thomas McCarthy‘s (Win Win, The Visitor) The Cobbler has been released, which stars Adam Sandler as a lonely cobbler who discovers he can turn into his customers after using a magical shoe repair machine. The film also stars Steve Buscemi, Dan Stevens, Dustin Hoffman, Ellen Barkin, and Method Man.

The Cobbler originally premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film festival, but has no U.S. release date as of yet.

Max Simkin repairs shoes in the same New York shop that has been in his family for generations. Disenchanted with the grind of daily life, Max stumbles upon a magical heirloom that allows him to step into the lives of his customers and see the world in a new way. Sometimes walking in another man’s shoes is the only way one can discover who they really are.
