Thomas Vinterberg’s FAR FROM THE MADDENING CROWD Trailer

The new trailer for Thomas Vinterberg‘s (The Hunt, The Celebration) latest, an adaptation of Thomas Hardy‘s Far From the Maddening Crowd, has been released. The film stars Carey Mulligan, Matthias Schoenaerts, Tom Sturridge, Michael Sheen, and Juno Temple, and was was slated to hit Cannes last year, but ended up getting delayed by nearly a year.

Fox Searchlight will be releasing the film in limited release on May 1st, however, so if you’re in the mood for a period piece romance, then mark your calendar.
