Tiff 2013: McCANICK Trailer: Cory Monteith’s Final Film

Here’s the trailer for McCanick, starring the late Cory Monteith, which will be making its premiere at next month’s Toronto International Film Festival.  The fest will also be screening another film of Monteith’s, titled All the Wrong Reasons.

McCanick is directed by Josh C. Waller, and also stars David Morse, Ciaran Hinds, Mike Vogel, Rachel Nichols, Tracie Thoms, Trevor Morgan, and Aaron Yoo.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer and synopsis.

A hothead cop (David Morse) learns a young man (Cory Monteith, in one of his final film roles) he helped put away seven years ago is back out on the streets — and carries with him an uncomfortable secret. This tough, tension-riddled action-drama is a showcase for Morse’s intensity and Monteith’s charisma.
