‘Trouble with the Curve’ Trailer Starring Clint Eastwood

It’s been quite a while since Clint Eastwood acted in a film that wasn’t his own, but it seems he decided to help out his long-time production partner Robert Lorenz, by starring in his directorial debut Trouble with the Curve. In the film, Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout who’s eyesight is failing, and has an estranged daughter, played by Amy Adams, who joins him on his scout in an attempt to care for him.The film also stars Justin Timberlake playing Amy Adams’ love interest, and John Goodman playing his best friend in the business. Robert Patrick and Matthew Lillard also have roles in the film.

This does look like it could be a heartfelt movie, but at the same time it does feel slightly generic, and may not bring anything new to the table.  We’ll find out for sure when Trouble with the Curve hits theaters September 28.
