Lionsgate has released a new trailer for All Eyez On Me, which chronicles the career of Tupac Shakur. The film takes its name from the last 2Pac album released during his lifetime. Demetrius Shipp, Jr., who looks eerily similar to the legendary late rapper, plays the lead.
All Eyez On Me is directed by Benny Boom and also stars Danai Gurira, Kat Graham, Annie Ilonzeh, Dominic L. Santana, and Jamal Woolard. It will be in theaters on June 16th.
ALL EYEZ ON ME chronicles the life and legacy of Tupac Shakur, including his rise to superstardom as a hip hop artist, actor, poet and activist, as well as his imprisonment and prolific, controversial time at Death Row Records. Against insurmountable odds, Shakur rose to become a cultural icon whose career and persona both continue to grow long after his passing.
