Per The Hollywood Reporter, the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me has been picked up by Lionsgate for release on June 16th, 2017, which would’ve been the rapper’s 46th birthday.
The project has been in development for several years and the film will finally arrive just a couple of months after Tupac’s April induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
All Eyez on Me is directed by Benny Boom and stars Tupac dead ringer Demetrius Shipp, Jr. Check out a trailer above and a synopsis below.

Robinson and written by Steven Bagatourian, Stephen J. Rivele, Christopher Wilkinson, Ed Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft.
