TURBO KID Gets a New Trailer and Release Date

One festival favorite that I’ve been dying to see, yet continuously eludes me is Turbo Kid from RKSS (Anouk Whissell, François Simard, Yoann-Karl Whissell). Fortunately, I won’t have to wait much longer, as the film will be released in theaters and on VOD platforms August 28th, and as such, Epic Pictures Group posted a new trailer.

The film stars Munro Chambers, Laurence Leboeuf, and Michael Ironside, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where a comic-loving kid must hop on his BMX bike and take down a group of murderous scavengers. Yes please.

In a post-apocalyptic future a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl. From horror masterminds Ant Timpson (The ABCs Of Death 1 & 2, Housebound) and Jason Eisener (Hobo With A Shotgun).
