Universal Sets New BORNE Film in Motion

Deadline reported today that Universal has brought on Anthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) to pen the new Borne film, which will see the return of Jeremy Renner in the lead role as Aaron Cross.

Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on who will direct, as The Borne Legacy director and writer of all three previous films Tony Gilroy has not been confirmed.  My guess is they’ll be bringing someone else in for this one considering the poor reception of Legacy.

There’s also nothing in the way of storyline yet either, however I would suspect they’ll pick up right where the last one ended, considering how it was left off.
