Vincent Gallo Cast in Japanese Thriller HUMAN TRUST

Film Business Asia reported today that the wonderfully eccentric Vincent Gallo has joined Junji Sakamoto‘s Human Trust, which centers on a conman (Kôichi Satô) who is hired to track down and steal a stash of WWII treasure.  Gallo plays an investment banker who learns of this and hires a hitman, played by Yu Ji-Tae (Oldboy), to kill him.

The film is based on a novel by Fukui Harutoshi and with shooting already wrapped, it’s set to hit theaters in Japan October 19th.  There’s currently no word on a US release, but this seems like the perfect film to start showing up on the festival circuit.
