Watch the First Teaser Trailer for THOR: RAGNAROK

Marvel has released the first teaser for Taika Waititi‘s Thor: Ragnarok, and it looks like the marketing has taken some cues from Guardians of the Galaxy with humor, bright colors, and even a classic rock song blaring in the background. There are also a lot of retro fonts.

The big tease is the gladiator match between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). We also get a look at Cate Blanchett‘s villain catching mjolnir in midair, and also see Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster.

Also starring Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Karl Urban, and Anthony Hopkins, Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters on November 3rd.

Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok — the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization — at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger — the Incredible Hulk!
