Paramount has released the Super Bowl ad for Ghost in the Shell, an adaptation of the popular manga series starring Scarlett Johansson. She plays Major Motoko Kusanagi, a human-cyborg hybrid leader of a special task force that takes down dangerous criminals.
Directed by Rupert Sanders, Ghost in the Shell is in theaters on March 31st.
Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
