Watch This Insane Trailer for the 1st Person Action Film HARDCORE

After first hearing about Ilya Naishuller, director of the amazingly awesome Biting Elbows video Bad Motherfucker, creating a feature length action film using the same first person POV style, I was immediately excited and on board with whatever insanity he threw on the screen. Now, the film, aptly titled Hardcore, has its first trailer and I’m even more stoked for this film to hit theaters.

The film stars Sharlto Copley and just premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival to much fanfare.

If you missed the original music video, I’ll throw it in at the end of this post. Unfortunately, Hardcore doesn’t have a release date just yet.

You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife. She tells you that your name is Henry and congratulations, you’re now a cyborg.

5 minutes later, your wife has been kidnapped and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Kozlovsky), he’s just a psychotic megalomaniac with telekinetic powers, and a never-ending army of mercenaries. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, Russia and everyone wants you dead. Everyone, except for a mysterious, British fellow called Jimmy (Copley). He might be on your side. Good luck Henry. Youre very much likely to need it. Oh, did I tell you that your battery is quickly running out?
