Weekend Box Office: SPLIT Wins Third Week in a Row

Split held off the debut of Rings to win the box office for the third weekend in a row, grossing $14.6 million to Rings’ $13 million. The other new wide release of the week – The Space Between Us – fizzled with $3.8 million to come in 9th. Check out the entire top ten below

  3. A Dog’s Purpose – $10.8M; Total gross: $32.9M
  4. Hidden Figures – $10.1M; Total gross: $119.4M
  5. La La Land – $7.5M; Total gross: $118.3M
  6. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter – $4.5M; Total gross: $21.9M
  7. Sing – $4.1M; Total gross: $262.9M
  8. Lion – $4M; Total gross: $24.7M
  9. The Space Between Us – $3.8M; Debut
  10. xXx: Return of Xander Cage – $3.7M; Total gross: $40M
