X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Writers to Script POWER RANGERS Movie

THR broke the news today that Lionsgate’s upcoming Power Rangers movie has brought on Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz to work on the script, with Roberto Orci brought on as executive producer.  Miller and Stentz previously wrote the script for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class and Orci produced a ton of big-budget blockbusters including Transformers 4 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Power Rangers has a tentative release of sometime in 2016, but since there’s no cast or director attached just yet that could shange.
