AQUAMAN Slated for Fall 2018 Release

Mark your calendars Aquaman aficionados. Warner Bros. has announced that the James Wan-directed, Jason Momoa-starring Aquaman will swim into theaters on October 5th, 2018. It will also screen in Imax and 3-D.

So far in the DC Extended Universe, we’ve seen the King of the Seven Seas holding his breath underwater for some reason in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and swilling booze in the trailer for 2017’s Justice League. Wan has used the term “swashbuckling” when describing his vision for the film, so hopefully there’s some fun adventure that will be added to the oppressively bleak DCEU. The announced cast also includes Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe.
