Watch Four Directors Discuss Their Acclaimed 2016 Films

A new piece in T Magazine, “The Auteurs Changing Cinema,” highlights seven writer/directors of praised 2016 films. Featured are Mike Mills (20th Century Women), Damien Chazelle (La La Land), Barry Jenkins (Moonlight), Andrea Arnold (American Honey), Jeff Nichols (Loving), Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester by the Sea), and Tom Ford (Nocturnal Animals).

Also included are short videos of four of those auteurs – Mills, Jenkins, Nichols, and Ford – sharing some insights on specific scenes. There’s some good stuff here; check out the videos below.
