Barry Levinson’s THE HUMBLING Trailer Starring Al Pacino

Deadline has posted the first trailer for The Humbling, Barry Levinson‘s (Rain Man, Wag the Dog) upcoming comedy starring Al Pacino as a retired actor who forms a relationship with a young woman played by Greta Gerwig.  The cast also includes Dianne Wiest, Kyra Sedgwick, Dan Hedaya, and Charles Grodin.

The Humbling premiered at the Venice Film Festival, but doesn’t have a U.S. release date as of yet.

The Humbling tells the story of a legendary stage actor who has an affair with a lesbian woman half his age at a secluded country house in Connecticut. Based on Philip Roth’s final novel, it is a tragic comedy about a man who has lived inside his own imagination for too long.
