Matt Johnson’s OPERATION AVALANCHE Gets a First Image

When I first saw The Dirties at last year’s Sarasota Film Festival I’m not ashamed to admit I instantly developed a bit of a man crush on writer/director/star Matt Johnson. Since then, Matt was kind enough to come on our podcast twice, so I’m very pleased to see the new image for his latest film, Operation Avalanche

Operation Avalanche is another docu-style film that takes place in the ‘60s and tells he story of how the CIA faked the moon landing in order to win the cold war.

Although the above image doesn’t give us much, it’s enough to make even more excited to seek this one out as soon as humanly possible.

Filming is currently underway and is set for a Spring 2015 completion.  Lionsgate will be distributing.

Be sure to click here and here to listen to our interviews with Matt Johnson and if you haven’t seen The Dirties yet, I would highly recommend checking it out on Netflix.
