Channing Tatum Talks ‘Magic Mike’ Sequel

It seems like the Steven Soderbergh directed, stripper saga is becoming poised for a franchise, first with the announcement that Channing Tatum and Soderbergh are developing a Broadway show, and now there’s a possible sequel in the works. In a recent interview with Glamour, when asked about a sequel Tatum said “Yes, yes and yes! We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger.”This raises a multitude of questions not the least of which is where can they take the film from here?  I won’t spoil the ending, but it doesn’t seem like they can make a good sequel based on the ending of the first film.  Also, will Steven Soderbergh direct? This is an absolute must, if he’s not on board I don’t see a sequel working.

What are your thoughts on a Magic Mike sequel?
