Critics’ Choice Awards Winners List

The Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists handed out their annual awards this evening. On the film side, the big winner was La La Land. The contemporary musical took home 9 awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (Damien Chazelle), and Best Screenplay (Chazelle) in a tie with Kenneth Lonergan’s Manchester by the Sea.

The Critics’ Choice Awards features categories for various genres as well, with winners including Hacksaw Ridge for Best Action Movie, Arrival for best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie, and Deadpool for Best Comedy.
