DODGEBALL Sequel Rolls Forward

2014 will mark the 10 year anniversary of the now classic Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Over the years there has been a lot of talk and speculation as to if there was going to be a sequel.

Today, there’s a bit of news on that front in that Clay Tarver has been tapped to pen the script for Dodgeball 2. Tarver’s only previous writing credit is 2001’s Joyride, which was indeed funny, though not intentionally so. He does have two other projects in development, Men Making Music, which is about competitive barbershop quartets, and Quantum Hoops, which is about the Caltech basketball team.

There’s no other word just yet on a director or who will star, however it’s probably safe to assume if it’s going to be made at all it will feature Stiller and Vaughn.
