Today, there’s a bit of news on that front in that Clay Tarver has been tapped to pen the script for Dodgeball 2. Tarver’s only previous writing credit is 2001’s Joyride, which was indeed funny, though not intentionally so. He does have two other projects in development, Men Making Music, which is about competitive barbershop quartets, and Quantum Hoops, which is about the Caltech basketball team.
There’s no other word just yet on a director or who will star, however it’s probably safe to assume if it’s going to be made at all it will feature Stiller and Vaughn.
If you need to get a Stiller-Vaughn fix early, check out The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Internship starring each respectively. The Internship hits theaters June 7th and Walter Mitty, which is also directed by Stiller, comes out the end of this year.
