FAST 9 Release Pushed Back a Year Due to Coronavirus

Just a short while after the announcement came through that A Quiet Place Part II was pulled from the release schedule, Variety announced Fast 9 will also be moving its release date back nearly a year from its original date, May 22nd to April 2nd, 2021. According to the article this was announced through Vin Diesel‘s social media, however I couldn’t find this to verify.

This is yet another in a series of devastating blows to the theater industry, especially considering the Fast & Furious franchise is a huge moneymaker. Hey, at least Bloodshot is still opening this weekend, right?
