The film looks intriguing, however it seems like the trailer give away way too much of the story. I never heard about the true life events, but after watching this I feel like I know everything there is to know. Either way, it looks like it could be a fun ride.
The film is directed by Daniel Alfredson, who previously directed The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. Kidnapping Freddy Heineken doesn’t currently have a US release date, but that could change after it’s presented at Cannes.
