Matt Dillon and Bruno Ganz Join Lars Von Trier’s THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT

Lars Von Trier announced today that Matt Dillon will be starring as the infamous Jack the Ripper in his upcoming film The House That Jack Built. The film will follow the life of the mysterious serial killer over a 12-year span of time and will also feature Bruno Ganz as a character named Verge who engages in conversations with Jack over the years.

Shooting is expected to begin soon in Sweden and Denmark, with four prominent female roles soon to be announced.

This seems like the perfect subject matter for Von Trier, and I’m super excited to follow the progress of this one.
