New ALIEN: COVENANT Set Photo Looks Familiar

Today is Ridley Scott’s 79^th birthday, and to mark the occasion 20^th Century Fox has released a photo of the director on the set of Alien: Covenant. In the background, you may notice something that looks recognizable – the Space Jockey on his throne. Check out the studio’s tweet below.

Whether this ties directly to the beginning of Alien, the ending of Prometheus, both, or neither remains to be seen.

We’ll find out (maybe) when Alien: Covenant hits theaters on May 19^th, 2017.
