The OCEAN’S EIGHT Crew Has its Mark

The heist movie spinoff Ocean’s Eight has cast its villain/victim. The team of lady thieves led by Sandra Bullock will be scheming against a character played by Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions). Variety reports that the mark will also be Bullock’s ex-lover, so this time…it’s personal.

Gary Ross is directing with George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, of Ocean’s Eleven, etc., on-board as producers. Rounding out Bullock’s team are: Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and Sarah Paulson. Matt Damon is reprising his role from the previous Ocean’s movies.

Ocean’s Eight is currently filming and is slated to be released on June 8, 2018.
