PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5 Release Date Pushed Back

Disney announced today that they will be pushing back the release date of the next Pirates movie from July 10, 2015, to probably sometime in 2016.  The reason behind the delay is apparently that they want to make sure  to produce a quality product, something they should have considered before releasing the last film (zing!).

Disney already has a slew of films set to release in 2015 including Ant-Man, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Pixar’s Inside Out, and possibly Star Wars Episode VII.

Pirates 5 will be directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, who most recently directed Kon-Tiki.
